Police K-9 Training Sub-Division, under the Royal Thai Police Office of Police Strategy, has an aim to develop its facilities enhancing the performance of each of its sectors. Police K-9 Training Sub-Division is the only facilitator of Police Working Dog in Bangkok under the Metropolitan Police Bureau, whether it is the training of Police Working Dog, care of Working Dogs’ welfare, or carrying working dogs related missions under Royal Thai Police’s coverage. This sector also supports Police Special Branch Bureau, Special Weapons and Tactics (S.W.A.T.), Narcotics Suppression, Police Forensic Science, Immigration Bureau, Provincial Police, and Border Patrol Police Bureau. The importance of these lines of work has no accurate and efficient replacement, therefore a thorough development of the facility is proposed to enhance the abilities to track and chase, search and rescue, protection and crowd control, investigate, and recently to diagnose symptoms with efficient accuracy. The objective aims to provide an effective and efficient space with better quality living for both humans and dogs alike for future development of the training center covering the whole range of utilities to meet international standards.
